Kenny Chesney and Megan Moroney are continuing their heartwarming friendship on social media. Following Moroney’s celebratory Instagram comment of “Deserved!!!!” about Chesney’s induction into the Country Music Hall of Fame, the music superstar sent Moroney a warm message after her two headlining shows at Akins Ford Arena in Athens, Georgia. Moroney captured photos of the festivities while reflecting on the significance of the shows in her Instagram post on Sunday (April 6), which she captioned, “thank you for another incredible weekend of the AIO tour it’s been hard to process that 5 years ago I was still a student at UGA having no idea that y’all’s support would one day lead to this.” Chesney voiced his support for the reigning CMA New Artist of the Year by commenting, “So proud of you.” Moroney continues her Am I Okay? Tour with a two-night stand in Nashville on April 9-10, while Chesney will become the first country music artist to have a residency at Sphere Las Vegas beginning on May 22. (Holler)
