During her tour stop in Charlotte, North Carolina on Thursday (February 20), Kelsea Ballerini made a personal connection with a young boy she spotted in the crowd. The fan held a sign that said, “I get bullied at school because I am a boy and I love you. Can we take a selfie?” In a TikTok video capturing the tender moment, the country superstar offered words of support from the stage. “I’m really sorry that anyone’s ever said anything mean to you. That’s not OK,” said Ballerini. “But you’re OK. You’re more than OK. Are you having a good time? That’s all I care about.” The young fan revealed that Ballerini’s show was his first-ever concert, and she asked him for a selfie as the crowd cheered. “Do you hear all your friends right now? These are all your friends. Don’t forget that. We got you,” said Ballerini after they took a photo together. “We have him, right? That makes me want to cry.” (People)
