A Laurium man has been arrested for alleged involvement in the January 6th U.S. Capitol riot. On Wednesday federal officials arrested Adam Christopher Mancuso. A warrant for Mancuso’s arrest was filed on August 23rd. Unsealed court documents outline that a week following the January 6th, 2021 capitol riot, Mancuso posted images of himself among other rioters. FEBi investigators identified Mancuso by an Insane Clown Posse hat. Investigators tracked his movement within the capitol by sight of the hat. Investigators say that Mancuso spent around half an hour inside the building, stopped at the Crypt, Hall of Columns, and confronted an officer while wearing a gas mask. FBI agents say that the I-C-P hat was a key to identifying Mancuso. He has appeared in federal court. Mancuso’s next appearance has been set for September 10th.
